Middle East Expert: Media Vital in Portraying Zionists' Atrocities

The Middle East expert underscored that the compassionate, revolutionary and freedom-loving people in the Islamic world should produce, promote and show telefilms, short fiction films, and comedy series aimed at revealing in the field of promoting the teachings of domination, Zionism, and works in the genre of drama and emotional and family relations and philanthropy.

A senior expert in Middle East affairs said the mass media plays a key role in enlightening the people and societies.

Talking to the Public Relations and Information Center of 16th Resistance International Film Festival, Majid Safataj reiterated that due to the negligence of the Islamic world, the propaganda apparatus of the world arrogance, the international Zionists, in particular, is misusing the mass media and easily has replaced the legitimate resistance and terrorism.
He added that international Zionism has introduced to the world any liberation movement against the oppressive and occupying governments as a terrorist especially in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries.

He added that holding any festival with the aim of explaining and introducing the real face of the resistance to the public opinion of the world is very necessary.
Safataj underscored that the 16th International Resistance Film Festival, to some extent, can fill this gap in the world, especially the Islamic world.
Highlighting the important role of media in influencing public opinion, he added that despite the media's inherent duty of informing, it can play a key role in portraying the Zionist regime atrocities.
Referring to the necessity of portraying the terrorist, racist, occupier, and belligerent nature of this child-killing Zionist regime, he added it is essential that the media continuously inform and enlighten the public about the nature, policies, and programs of this brutal regime.
"In past seven decades, the occupier Zionist regime has produced hundreds of items about the crimes of this regime, which the media, especially the cinema, can use to make documentaries, feature films, telefilms, motion graphics, and clips.
He added that in fact, the media can play an irreplaceable role in recognizing the main enemy of the Islamic world, namely Zionism.

Safataj underscored that since the documentary expresses the truth in the context of the truth, it can communicate with the audience and clarify the real face and the true nature of an event and convey it to the audience.
He added that making a documentary about the developments in West Asia, especially the resistance of the Palestinian people against the occupation of the Zionist regime and the resistance of the people of other countries in which the regime has intervened, can make the audience fully aware of the truth of the Middle East and Palestine.
"In my opinion, due to the mass production and promotion of works of art and anti-value films and series, which are sometimes anti-Islamic and have been able to influence the tastes of the audience to some extent, it is necessary to establish cultural and artistic institutions and artistic organizations as well as committed artists," he added.

"The public opinion of the Islamic world is in dire need of such films and serials," he added.

"Since resistance is not limited to the hard battlefield and has a significant role and function in other political, economic and social areas, so by portraying it in these areas, we could witness the beautiful manifestation of resistance," he added.

Pointing to the fact that the "health defenders" section is one of the special sections of this festival, he added:" Portraying these characteristics of health defenders in the festival is necessary. And this attention to the medical staff is the least we can do to safeguard these resistance funds."
